Growing & Going

Get Involved

What is a Group?

Join a group to grow with other believers.

A group at FBCW is a gathering of believers meeting the following criteria:

·         Guided by an approved leader.

·         Regularly meeting.

·         On-campus

·         Using approved curriculum.

·         Pursuing spiritual growth.

So, you can be in a group by being a part of an ongoing on-campus or semester-based groups such as women's Bible studies, Men's Ministry, Discipleship Training or Sunday school.

The important thing is that you start doing life with other believers. At FBCW, you do that through groups.

How do I choose a group?

You can choose your group based on your most pressing need. Some people are looking for fellowship and need an ongoing group that meets every week with no scheduled end date. Others are looking for biblical answers to specific questions or issues. They want a group that meets for a specific number of weeks about a singular subject or topic. You decide the kind of group that suits you best right now. You are under no obligation to stay in a group. So, give one a try. If it doesn't work for you, try something else.

On-campus groups meet in conjunction with worship on Sundays. These groups are ongoing and meet every week.

Men's Ministry meets Saturday morning once a month for breakfast or Thursday nights at on campus with a fall term beginning in August. Get your “man card” punched by doing life with other men.

Women's Bible studies meet Thursday mornings and Thursday nights and will throughout he year cover a variety of topics.

We Were Never Intended to Do Life Alone

That's why it is important that you find a group that meets your needs. As your needs change, you can change groups. Hope to see you soon!
